Co-curricular

“Work without play makes Jack a dull boy”. Pleasure is beyond our descriptive capacity to let you know that at KHS, we have a wide range of vibrant games and sports, clubs, societies and associations.
We offer games and sports like: Football, netball, volley ball and rugby. Other extra co-curricular activities include MDD, Clubs, Debates, Quizzes, Talent shows and spelling bee.

Each and every student is given an opportunity to participate and compete in any activity of their best choice. This helps our learners to develop a sense of responsibility and a stronger spirit of competition as we are naturally competitive beings.

Our Clubs, Societies and Associations include Educate, Interact, Coding, Science and technology, Maths, and Business and so many others. We also offer indoor games such as chess, badminton, scrabble, treasure hunt, etc.
Associations such as Rwandese, South Sudanese, etc. This helps to boost the spirit of togetherness, producing empathetic, sincere, morally upright and responsible future leaders of the world.
Unity does not show the difference in skin color, nor race and does not even show who is superior or inferior but it’s the spirit which assures us that we are all humans. United we stand, divided we fall.

Sports

At our school, we celebrate a vibrant spectrum of sports and activities that cater to every interest and child. Whether students prefer the invigorating rush of outdoor sports or the camaraderie of indoor competitions, we provide an array of opportunities to fuel their passions.

Our sports field comes alive with football, rugby and track and field events, where students engage in spirited competition and teamwork. Students can also enjoy recreational games, like basketball, netball and volleyball, to stay active and connected.

Chess

Kisubi School's Chess Club, Kisubi Knights gives opportunities for students to learn how the pieces move and the rules of Chess. We discuss decision making in the various stages of a game and begin to learn different tactics.

Students are introduced to basic Chess puzzles and play games against each other. The students are also given an opportunity to participate in the various chess tournaments in Uganda and internationally.

Music, Dance and Drama

Students enjoy a holistic music, dance and drama programme. They have lessons each week in a dedicated performance space. Great emphasis is placed on growing the student's confidence and interpersonal skills through an interactive and supportive learning environment.

We aim to encourage students to become problem solvers, critical and creative thinkers and culturally literate through exposing them to different forms of drama from different cultures in Uganda and around the world.
