Clubs

Kisubi Schools is more than just a place for academic learning; it's a community where students can explore their passions, develop new skills, and engage in fun extracurricular activities. With a rich array of clubs spanning across the nursery, primary, and secondary sections, Kisubi provides a platform for every student to discover their potential and contribute to the school’s dynamic culture.

The school believes that extracurricular activities are just as vital as academic learning, allowing students to develop essential life skills such as teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and time management. These experiences not only enrich students' lives but also help them grow into confident, well-rounded individuals.

Furthermore, Kisubi takes pride in its inclusive environment, where every student, regardless of age or background, can find a club or activity that resonates with their interests. From younger children in the nursery section participating in playful arts and crafts clubs to secondary school students exploring global issues through the Educate Club, the range of opportunities is vast.

Clubs also foster a sense of belonging, where students build strong friendships, collaborate on projects, and work together towards common goals. Whether it’s a debate on social justice, a chess tournament, or a community outreach program, Kisubi ensures that all students have a voice and a place to thrive beyond their academic studies.

Educate club

We run an Educate club at Kisubi where students are equipped with the knowledge and various skills to make them outstanding creative individuals in the entrepreneurship world. They also run a school canteen that helps them practice their business skills and most of the products they sell are manufactured by themselves ie Liquid Soap which they supply to the school, cakes, Vaseline, soap, juice, cookies, books, and many more.

This year our Educate club did the school proud as they won the regional competitions. Later in their first term holidays, out of the 42 schools that competed in the National Educate Competitions that took place in Lugogo, our educated team won the Best Sales award.

The interact club

When we talk about clubs in Kisubi schools, one cannot go minus mentioning the Interact club, as it has been always the club that has remained the most famous and active club amongst other clubs.

This is a clear manifestation that at Kisubi Schools, we have future Rotaracters and Rotarians who are going to be beneficial to the community.
As a club, we are happy that this year we have been able to do a number of projects and we have been successful in these projects. These projects include;

Sickle cell run
We participated in the Kabaka run and the main focus of this run was to use the money from it to help the sickle cell patients in Uganda, as Interact we always look at service above self and we are happy that we were part of this run

Visit to Nsambya baby’s home.
We also visited Nsabya babies home to help the young ones in that home and as interact members, we took a  number of items that included sugar, bread, diapers and many others, and also had enough time with the young ones where we had to play simple games, feed them and some other care was exhibited during the visit. And as a token of appreciation, we received a certificate for the tremendous work that we did

Internal functions
At kisubi High School, we have had internal functions that have include visitation days, open day, and ready for the workday, and in all these functions the Interact club has been there to give a hand.
As the interact club, we shall always promise to give a service that is above self.

Chess club

For students who love strategy and critical thinking, the chess club is the perfect place. The club brings together chess enthusiasts from all sections of the school, providing a chance for them to compete, practice, and learn from each other.

Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, the chess club helps sharpen the mind and teaches patience, planning, and perseverance.

MDD club

Nurturing Talent Through Music, Dance, and Drama

The vibrant rhythm of drums, the harmonious blend of voices, and the powerful expressions on stage are some of the hallmarks of the Music, Dance, and Drama (MDD) Club at Kisubi Schools. Established with a vision to nurture creativity and inspire students, the MDD Club has become a cornerstone of extracurricular life, offering students an avenue to explore their talents, build confidence, and celebrate the richness of culture and art.
